It’s not media it’s the polls

Republicans did not win popular vote in the last 20 years and they cannot win popular vote for the next 20 years

the only thing saving them is Electoral college, if not EC there will not be any more rep president.

there are more people who vote democratic then republican but they they are skewed in certain states.

If texas becomes reliably blue Reps are done

You do realise they always had the electoral college system forever ? They have it to protect the smaller states and maintain balance .

Popular vote is such a layman argument , only people with no clue of US history bring that to argument . 

Infact india needs something like a electoral college , north Indian states will gain huge amount of seats if lok sabha seats reorganization happens now . UP and Bihar will command 35% of the seats , I am glad US has electoral college to keep balance of power
