my birth certificate has only last initial and doesnot have last name.Will it be a problem for AOS?

Since you’ve birth certificate you cant get non availability of birth certificates so to support your birth certificate just need affidavit from your parent or relatives.

i think spelling corrections can be done . most birth registries dont have name as kids are named weeks after birth. so try getting it corrected and printed at meeseva center. 

did you try printing from meeseva site?
