Travelling to USA from India via UK

I am planning to travel from USA to bangalore

I recently spoke to British Airways representative who told me "Indian Nationals" are not allowed from UK to USA via British Airways, they can only travel from India to UK.

US to India via UK have not restrictions.

Is this valid? Anybody heard this? why only Indian national?

@soldier  Its a round trip from india to usa.

I meant to say there are not restrictions when traveling from US to India via UK.

But its not the case when coming back is seems "your are not allowed to enter US from UK if your indian national" - BA customer service

Do you have link for this? There is air bubbles that allowes many airlines to fly to india. Emirates BA are all flying. I checked with customer service who told me same

The list of the countries include Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bhutan, Canada, France, Germany, Iraq, Japan, Kenya, the Maldives, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, the UAE, the UK, the US. Travel agreements with Oman and Kenya have been finalised in the last few days. These agreements are the only window that is currently allowing international travel. Under these agreements, airlines of both the countries can carry passengers.
