Unfortunately I must disagree with you.

People of this genre doesnt deserve any sort of attention. Berating only triggers and riles them up further. Its a kind of fuel they constantly crave. Thatha is role model who made a fortune on that framework.

Anyways, We live in a soceity which is ingrained with bias and stereotypes. Existence of these kind of people are more rampant then we think.

While I didn’t tweet against her, I did my part by reporting her posts as hateful and she got locked (coz lot of people reported). That gives me some relief that I was able to stop her hate speech from reaching sick people for a little while.

I understand your perspective of it. However people like her will now play a blame game saying its violation of her rights (freedom of speech).

Nobody is asking to forget and forsake your culture. Cultural assimilation is taking up the values of the majority group and integrating into our life style. There are many small things like decorating the house with lights when it’s end of the year, going to easter egg hunt, preparing a thanksgiving meal.
