if he has OPT status still available...continue on OPT payroll till 60 days (december) and wait till elections are over, try to find new role in new location in these 60 days then file amendment, if he cannot find any role then move back to old location ?

After October 1st he will be on h1 as h1 is approved

yeah...friend was in similar situation, he spoke to attorney and she notified we will have 60 days before changing to H1b Payroll and she notified to be in OPT taxes for 60 days until figured out

Take admission for PHD( funded) or else waste of money and sevis can be transferred and file for reinstatement....3-5 months status normal avthadi
