Thousands Have Signed Up To Be Exposed To COVID-19 To Help Vaccine Development

Nearly 39,000 people around the world are offering  to put their health at risk by volunteering to take an experimental COVID-19 vaccine and then expose themselves to the virus. 

A U.S.-based advocacy organization called 1 Day Sooner is mobilizing thousands of volunteers who want to aid in the research and development of a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine.
