 My Great Great Grand Father: 1200 Acres.

 My Great Grand Father: 1200/6 = 200 Acres.

(6 brothers and sisters)

 My Grand Father: 200/4 = 50 Acres 

(4 brothers and sisters)

 My Father: 50/2 = 25 Acres

(2 Brothers)

Me: 25/2 = 12.5 Acres 

(we're 2 brothers)

this is a common cause for not having large holdings of land now a days. Is there any way to avoid this? If you form a charitable trust and keep all the properties under that trust, can you avoid disintegration of properties into smaller pieces overtime ?? 

How do the super rich stay rich over generations without much problems??
