When somebody is doing good, it is very often we hear trash about them in things that are irrelevant to them! I hope KTR re organizes building smart cities but distributed around telangana. Dallas San Antonio Austin concept lo develop cheyochu Telangana ni. It has money, leadership and man power. I predict Telangana to do good under KTR. Him being a fellow Ex IT consultant knows how to run the state in a well directed manner. On the contrary Jagan has not much to show for but i will hold myself from criticizing anybody personally. No one has to do anything new , just enforce normal municipal codes , protect government water bodies , scrap all regularisation scheme , do not approve construction in illegal layouts , etc I have seen enough governments come and go but no government does basic things right because a lot of money is to be made by not enforcing the rules. 1 Quote
hyperbole Posted October 19, 2020 Report Posted October 19, 2020 does anyone have time for a history lesson? How did one of the biggest bus stations in the country emerge in the middle of a river? idi okkadu chesina kampu kadu. (early 1990s) saw the start of the Musi turning from a river into a drain. Quote
hyperbole Posted October 19, 2020 Report Posted October 19, 2020 The problem is people come with a short memory, it's not that, we haven't had a flood. I remember 2001 when during the CBN govt, the chandeghat bridge was built newly, which connect Koti to Malakpet. It was completely submerged and the banks of the river around were completely submerged. Even then nothing changed, the only thing that changed there was, the temple, which was small over there on the banks. It was made bigger. End of story. Quote

That’s so true.. At some places, Musi width is wide as 300m-500m. Some places, Bank bank width is almost 800m-1000 meters. That itself shows that river flow in times of flood can extend to such a level...imagine the discharge this river could carry during floods and most of the river banks are at elevated level, that means so loss of life or inundation of low lying areas. Mokshagundam Saar planning ki muchukovali, flood control and drain, water supply ki step wise entha neat ga design chesi implement chesthe, Our gracious and democratically elected idiots have destroyed categorically everything. Without these two, no city can survive for long. In fact every new building that comes up, based on land area, surcharge or cess collect chesi local fund cheyadam, solely to be used for drains..ie kompalu kattadaniki ke kada motham kampu lepi 10gindi Quote
