Steel Bar From Biodiversity Flyover Falls On Road

Remember a car flipping from the flyover and leading to the death of a woman. This horrific accident was reported on Bio-diversity flyover just days after it was inaugurated. The guy who was driving the car claimed that the design of the flyover is at fault and he was not over-speeding.

Post the incident, the flyover was shut for nearly two months and after safety measures, it was reopened to commuters. Once again the flyover made it to the headlines and this time, it’s about the quality.

A connecting rod of the steel bridge fell on the road and fortunately no one was hurt in this. Yet again it raises the concerns about the flyover’s quality and design. An activist brought this to the attention of authorities but the netizens who saw this were shocked and are really doubting the quality of the flyover.

The authorities are yet to respond to this.

హైదరాబాద్ : రెండు రోజుల క్రితమే ప్రారంభించిన విజయవాడ దుర్గగుడి ఫ్లైఓవర్‌ వద్ద అపశృతి చోటు చేసుకుంది. ఫ్లైఓవర్ పెచ్చులూడిపడి విధుల్లో ఉన్న ఓ కానిస్టేబుల్‌కు తీవ్ర గాయాలయ్యాయి. ఓ ప్రాంతంలో ఫ్లై ఓవర్ నుంచి పెచ్చులు ఊడి కింద పడ్డాయి. దసరా బందోబస్త్‌లో ఉన్న కానిస్టేబుల్‌ చేయి, భుజానికి గాయాలు తగిలాయి. అతణ్ని చికిత్స కోసం ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించారు. దుర్గాఘాట్‌ దగ్గరలోని అశోక స్తంభం సెంటర్‌లో ఈ ప్రమాదం జరిగింది. బాధితుడు ఏపీఎస్పీ 3వ బెటాలియన్‌కు చెందిన కానిస్టేబుల్‌ రాంబాబుగా గుర్తించారు. దుర్గగుడికి వెళ్లే వాహనాలను డైవర్ట్‌ చేస్తున్న క్రమంలో ఈ ఘటన చోటు చేసుకుంది. ఎంతో ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా నిర్మించి.. ప్రారంభించిన రెండు రోజుల్లోనే ఇలాంటి ఘటన జరగడంతో స్థానికులు ఉలిక్కిపడ్డారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ఫ్లై ఓవర్ పటిష్టతపై వాహనదారుల నుంచి అనుమానాలు వ్యక్తమవుతున్నాయి. అధికారులు మరో సారి పూర్తి స్థాయిలో తనిఖీలు నిర్వహించాలని స్థానికులు కోరుతున్నారు.
