Happens to most of the players like kohli went thru in ENG 2014 all were kind of similar dismissals they have work on the issue and come back strong then only can survive else will get faded out...

Yes, he'd be fine in long run.  Aus ni Aus lo aadadam ante mazak kaadu.  Maha mahule padukkunnaru in the past.  He's young (so has time) and talented.  It's just a matter of having some good innings at home or vs. not so strong teams away to boost confidence.  I can see Shaw and Gill in the test team in the long run.  But for next test, surely Gill/Rahul in for Shaw/Kohli.

Too much competition for the two opening slots. He can't expect too many chances at the start of his career. Kohli was a settled player in the team during his bad phase in Eng 2014.   

Mayank, Shaw, Rohit, Dhawan, Gill, Rahul plus any new guys coming up like that karnataka ranji player forgot his name he played well for RCB too- being a lefty is also a plus with this current Indian lineup  

No 3,4,5 are pretty much settled for the next 4+ years in test cricket. Even 6 as Vihari is still young and he can keep his spot for long term if he performs but he may face the heat once Hardik starts bowling.
