CBS says it’s undeterred from airing the 60 Minutes interview with Trump after White House makes ‘unprecedented’ decision to release footage

President Trump posted an "uncut version" of his 60 Minutes interview with Lesley Stahl two days after reports from CNN, The New York Times and Politico suggested that he “abruptly ended” it around 45 minutes into filming. Following the reports, Trump had Tweeted that Stahl was “not wearing a mask in the White House after her interview” and said he may consider posting the interview earlier than scheduled “for the sake of accuracy in reporting.” He followed through and shared the interview hours before the final presidential debate. CBS issued a statement in response saying it would go ahead with the scheduled airing of the program on Sunday which will also feature VP Mike Pence, presidential nominee Joe Biden and vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
