Choodalani Vundi was directed by Gunasekhar and co-starred Soundarya, Prakash Raj, Anjala Zaveri and Brahmanandam. Choodalani Vundi was a huge blockbuster hit and grossed INR20crores which was very huge for that time. Hero is a mechanic who falls in love with daughter of underworld don. To escape from the goons of her father the couple run away to forest. Antagonist was planning to marry her daughter with son of another don. In a struggle his wife dies leaving their only child. Hero was jailed falsely and rest is how he unites with his son.
