Most schools hoped this fall would see students make up academic ground lost last spring when the pandemic hit. Now, with grades plummeting, many districts are bringing students back.

Every Friday I get an email from the school (not district, just an elementary school) that either a teacher or a student got tested COVID positive and they have informed whoever they came in contact with and asking them to quarantine for 2 weeks..

and a very small % of students are attending in person.. imagine if everyone starts going to school..

They are testing us every week and there were 6 positive cases since the beginning of this quarter.
