edx lo online masters programs unnayi chudandi.

Check this: https://www.edx.org/masters/online-master-science-computer-science-utaustinx

Program fee is $10k. Complete online & 10 courses total from University of Texas at Austin.

You will be awarded with Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) degree post competition of the course.

Covid valla gre requirement waive off chestunaru. Engineering background kakapothe prereqs veyachu. So be prepared to take them or show some online related course competition certificates.

Parallel ga Cloud certifications cheyandi. Should be good enough for RREffee I think.

I feel getting a degree from a University like this will be better than doing it from a unknown university.

You can check some reviews about the programs from edx. Ex: https://medium.com/@icarusxiv/online-master-of-computer-science-an-honest-review-cbd253436f68

Other option on coursera: https://www.coursera.org/degrees/master-of-computer-science-asu (UIUC)

But as these programs are offered by reputed universities, course work will be challenging.

Knowledge voddu degree ae muddu anukunte nerchukovali ane interest unte evarikina valakiichi course complete cheyinchandi you pay them. Though I don't advise this but already exprienced valaki just for the sake of having a degree kavalante idokate option.

RFP or RFE?

Masters kante learning outside lot better imo , you will spend less money , less effort and the outcomes(certifications etc) will also help in career switch

Doing Masters requires a lot of patience even if its online , this would mean reading up subjects you do not have a lot of interest in etc so think wisely

anyway , if you are worried about specialty occ RFEs etc , then its your choice

One I know is Georgia tech's MS in CS , I think its <8k , and Georgia tech is also very reputed.

Look for state universities in the state you are staying , they tend to be cheaper and you can also pay in-state tuition in some cases

Naku personal ga evaru teliyadu bro. But reddit and medium lo reviews unnayi check cheyandi. UIUC di difficulty level is moderate than expected ani undi. So UTA di inka easy undochu. I think online lo you will find the solutions for assignments. Exams koncham tough undachu if you don't follow the course. Degree istunaru ane antha easy ga avadu ga we need to put some effort for sure. You should be willing to spend atleast 20hrs/week..even more if you plan to take more courses in a term and complete in 3 terms.

If you are doing it for specialty occupation, try a post-baccalaureate bachelors(online) like this one: https://ecampus.oregonstate.edu/online-degrees/undergraduate/computer-science-postbacc/ instead of Masters.

USCIS considers BS in CS more favorably since specialty occupation is more about that. Plus all those Masters mentioned above (Georgia tech, UT Austin, UIUC) are good programs and hence the courses are difficult. Even the easiest courses need some attention. So you are looking at one course per semester which will take 4-5 years to complete.

it's very hard. It's a top 10 CS school and you can expect the difficulty to reflect that

RFEs ki only courses with credit help avthayi. I don't think certifications will help that much

depends on how many courses you take per semster. I finished half of it in 1 year by taking mostly 2 courses each sem. But they are not easy. Look for other post-baccalaureate BS programs if you want to do it the "easy way"

Certification kadu kada. I just mentioned to get cloud certifications in parallel as he wants to change into cloud computing roles which is not extensively covered as part of the mscs.

Degree will be awarded at the end of the course from UTA. faqs lo they answered MSCS degree will be awarded which will read exactly as that of an on-campus graduate. Its mentioned that one needs to complete 30 credit hours, which equals 10 courses to graduate.
