Always makes wonder why we never ventured out of our subcontinent but everyone from outside came here from Alexander to mongols to afgans to british to Portuguese . Either we are lazy or thought there is no world beyond India.

Why do we need to venture out of subcontinent we are self sufficient we were the most advanced civilization back then so no need of venturing out.   When you don’t have resources Or run out of resources then you go on expedition right.

To conquer for their version of truth, they invaded not about resources

hinduism originated in cambodia....angkor wat emo ani.

Indians would be better without foreigners may be.
Also I think Hinduism might be propagated from subcontinent until bali sumatra and java.

watching Indian Food documentary(hindi) and was surprised to know Mirchi is not native Indian spice but was brought to India by Vaso-di-gama in 16th century, the raja’s back then distributed the seeds in their respective kingdoms and that’s how it became one of the favorite Indian spices.

Black Pepper used to be the staple that we were using before the mirchi substituted it.
