కాలం మారింది. ఇప్పుడు అరేంజ్డ్ పెళ్లిళ్లు జరగడం కానకష్టం. యువతీ యువకులు తమకు నచ్చిన వారిని వారే ఎంపిక చేసుకొని తల్లిదండ్రులకు చూపిస్తే వారు పెళ్లిళ్లు చేస్తున్నారు. కాదంటే లేచిపోయి వారే చేసుకుంటున్నారు. రానురాను అరేంజ్డ్ మ్యారేజెస్ అనేవి ఉండవా అన్న రీతిలో సమాజ పోకడలు మారిపోతున్నాయి.

 

ట్విస్ట్ ఏంటంటే.. పెళ్లి చేసుకుంటానని వస్తానన్న ప్రియుడు సైతం రాలేదు. దీంతో ఇటు పెళ్లికొడుకు పోయి.. ప్రియుడు పరార్ అయ్యి ఆ పెళ్లికూతురు నిండా మునిగింది. మండపంలోనే వధువు బావురుమంది.

నెలరోజుల కిందటే వరుడికి వధువుకి నిశ్చితార్థం జరిగింది.అప్పుడే పెళ్లి ఫిక్స్ చేశారు. ఈ ప్రేమ వ్యవహారం ముందే చెప్పినా ఇంత ఖర్చు పెళ్లికొడుకుకు అవమానం తప్పేది. కానీ వధువు అతడితో ఫోన్లో మాట్లాడుతూ నెలరోజులుగా అతడికి ఆశ చూపి చివరకు పెళ్లి పీటల మీద నో చెప్పేసరికి వరుడి ముఖంలో నెత్తురు చుక్కలేని పరిస్థితి నెలకొంది. తమిళనాడులోని నీలగిరి జిల్లాలో ఈ వింత ఘటన చోటుచేసుకుంది.
