Help on a situation for a friend

GC filed by two former employers with PD Q1 2016. New employer is willing to start GC but carrier growth ledu and cannot expect in future due to the role he is working in. So, is it best to move to a different employer and ask him to file GC or stay with current employer and file GC?
Nenu filing date 2016 Q1 ravali antae atleast 2 years paduthundhi ani cheppa but I don’t know. 
your healthy recommendations and suggestions please.

if he has a new offer and likes it then switch.

if not just stay and get gc process initiated asap. Get i140 approved and stay for 6 more months and then switch.
