Cabinet clears Adani’s proposal for data centre, IT park & skill varsity in Vizag with 14,630 crore

The AP Cabinet on Thursday cleared the Adani Group’s proposal for setting up the integrated data centre, IT and Business Park, skill development university and a recreation centre in Visakhapatnam with an estimated investment of Rs 14,630 crore. This was announced by Agriculture Minister K Kannababu during a press briefing after the conclusion of a two-and-a-half-hour Cabinet meeting on Thursday. He criticised the TDP for indulging in Goebbels campaign that the Adani Group had shelved their AP plan after YSRCP came to power. Kannababu mentioned that the AP government allotted 150 acres to the Adani Group and employment generation is expected to be 25,000.

If it is just data center proposal then 25k direct jobs is biscuit . Just like 1 lakh data center jobs PPT by baboru. 

Data centers hardly requires huge man power once it is up and running.
