Immigraion experts need help on I-94

Hi Bro,

I got h1b approved in 2017 nov and I travelled to india in Dec 2107 and got visa stamped and came to USA in jan 2018.

in 2018 March I changed client and filed for amendment ;  and in 2020 March I had again applied amendment and extension with the same client (as vendor got changed) and got approved in July 2020 and got validity from March 2020-March 2023.

But in Oct 2020 ,the old amendment,which i applied in 2018 March got  approved from 2018 March -2020 Nov; this got different I-94 and not matching with the latest on I-94 website.

My last I-94 from I-94 website is matching with the h1b approved copy i got in July 2020.

so which I-94 is applicable for me, some one is saying whichever is approved recent is the one as per last action rule; but my attorney said last action rule is only for change of status and not for amendment.

your second amendment takes priority of the first amendment and that is the reason you got updated with I-94 matching .

please guide me if my attorney is right or need to approach some better lawyers.

latest i94 takes precedence always .. so recent ga ochina i94 is ur current one .. all this while same employer tho unnaav kabatti .. attorney tho enquire cheyamanu , they will confirm

below is the reply from my employer immigration team:

"As per the USCIS regulations, the current Amendment/Extension Petition that was filed in March 2020, with H-1B validity approval until 2023 takes priority over the previous H-1B amendment that was filed in 2018, even though you received the prior amendment approval recently valid until 11/14/20. 

I did confirm it with the attorney as well."
