I'm not pinpointing at the people that do this but the university offering such program, that's really weird! It's just like a four year course based degree with writing project. 

The reason these programs run is because no one actually graduates from these programs. They just exist as a buffer.

Yep. I’ve even seen some people work hard for 7-8 years to get a PhD. This is  mostly an exception/buffer option as @PilliBeta mentioned

@Ellen @redsox already second masters koda aipoyi inka h1 pick avvani cases. Malli masters chesthe h1 pick ayyaka query padtundi. Cumberlands is only for cpt no. Not for phd sake. You don’t need to worry about it much.

I see. Merit based cheyachu ga visa process...ee picking lu lottery lu badulu. Ilanti kastalu taggutai and people will really do what they want to... Ipudu like @PilliBeta said what if they really give GCs to PhD students ( not sure if they look at their h-index at all in this case), more people will enroll just for GC no?

Already masters ki spend chesi untaru kada and second masters ki koda pay chesi untaru. Enni years ani chaduvukuntu untaru mari. We donno evari situation Ento.

GCs antha possible kademo le. They are not regular phd students kada.
