Founded and built an IT services Procon, Inc , began the company with $100 and grew to a 225 employee base and revenues of $22m in 27 months. Successfully sold the company with RCM for $32m in November 1998.

CEO/Founder, Albion Orion Company LLC, Michigan, 2000

Post-sale of my company to RCM, I got an opportunity to participate in KARVY group where the partners (Mr Kutumba Rao) and  (Mr Ajay Kumar) sold their stake to me in 1999.
I came back to India and after my entry into Karvy, I got exposed to the Indian outsourcing space.
I then bought two e-business solutions companies called Albion and Orion.
Later called as Albion Orion where the delivery was done back in India.
That was in early 2000.
An Indian company based in Chennai made an offer to me to sell out which I couldnt refuse.
SSI was the company that I eventually sold my company in September 2001; it was the largest cross-border deal
SSI LIMITED CEO Mr Kalpathi S. Suresh REGRETTED LATER THAT IT WAS BAD DEAL TO BUY Albion Orion

Chairman/Founder, IREVNA Ltd., London, United Kingdom, 2001 to 2005

I decided to move to Europe and explore the markets there because my wife and I were mobile. I moved to London
We started a firm called Irevna. The word means Research in Greek. We began that firm with 25000 employees in Karvy House in 2001. Two weeks after that, 9/11 attack happened. It shook us. But we stuck to course for one year and delivered what clients wanted. Deutsche Bank gave us the break.
After that, I moved out of London to New York to expand the operations of Irevna. We took off in a big way. In 2005, I sold that company to CRISIL, the credit-rating agency.

That was when I decided to move back to India

Into Real Estate

In 2007, he re-entered the Chennai scene with another transaction with the Kalpathis(SSI LIMITED CEO). This time, Potluri raised several eyebrows in business circles when he purchased the 70-acre Binny Mills property from the Kalpathis for Rs 850 crore
From real estate, we diversified into power generation
In 2008, PVP ventures sold its hotel property in Ooty through its subsidiary AGS Hotels and Resorts to Mahindra Holidays for Rs 33 crore.
In 2011, the company sold its 90-ground (one ground amounts to over 2,000 sq ft) prime property at Vadapalani in Chennai to education group SRM for Rs 140 crore

Investment in Sakshi

PVP took 1677 Crores Loan in Mauritius and routed the money to his Indian companies and Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Jagathi Publications which owns Sakshi.

CBI already lodged a Quid-Pro-Quo case on Jagan and PVP. For the 130.97 Crore investments made by PVP in Jagathi Publications, the then YSR government allotted several land parcels to PVP's companies in Andhra Pradesh.

Mauritius Banks have already approached the country's Supreme Court as PVP companies are not repaying the loans and they have illegally sent the money out of the country without their permission.

Hyderabad-based Potluri entered the big league after his offshore entity in Mauritius, Platex Ltd, borrowed $258 million with Deutsche Bank acting as the facility agent.

Documents with Bermuda law firm Appleby show that Platex, an investment holding company held entirely by Potluri, was used by him as a vehicle to acquire a majority stake in his India-listed company, PVP Ventures Ltd. Filings by PVP Ventures Ltd with the Bombay Stock Exchange show that Platex holds 54.12 per cent in the Indian company.

Appleby records show that when Platex was raising funds from lenders, Potluri entered into a guarantee agreement with the offshore entity. They show that Citadel Equity Fund Ltd approached courts in India to prevent Potluri and his companies from allegedly stripping the PVP Ventures Ltd and its subsidiaries of their assets in November 2009.
