Is options trading a good idea?

I do trading on stockes, but never did options, is it good idea to start trading options? people say there is high probability of loosing capital..what you guys suggest?

If you are asking that question , then you aren't ready to do it . 

It has huge risks , can be very addictive and ruin your life . Americans have social programs to fall back on if they lose  money , you don't . 

avoid it until you are fully settled in life and and have money to lose
