How old is your kid? If he is not going to school, avoid good school zones in Plano and Frisco. The rents are very high in those areas bcoz of good schools. You can even try Richardson.

You can get a decent 1bd/1ba for $1200 or a 2bd/2ba for $1500... again, this is a rough number.... good school zones lo aithe it can go $200+ or more

It depends which client you are going to work in Plano. Apartment rates are between 1100 -1200 1BK, 1300-1500 for 2BHK in general. If you want a upscale one the price might go up. These prices are near good school district. ping me if you need any details.
