Native people Tamilians. Sinhalese are migrated peole from Bihar/MP regions. Andhuke valla names lo singhe ani untadhi chala mandhiki. eg-  Buddhi Weerasinghe (which actually means Veer Singh) These migrations happened during the times when Buddha and other buddist people in later generation sent their desciples to spread Buddism. Along with the religious people, some normal people also migrated. That's why they follow Buddism as religion (with some Hindu traditions like temple visting, puja and etc) which is different from Buddism in Japan/China. Over the time, they became majority and native Tamilians used to migrate to India. Hence they are dominating now and they have reservations in colleges and jobs and etc which angered the minotiry Tamil people. The start of LTTE and etc..you know it.

You are right about having no.of Mps from a single state and the power the state can wield.
