Calling DB nutrition experts

So far I always stuck to the ratio of 40 % carbs, 40% protein and 20% fat, konchem atu itu, but mostly in that range. I came across few articles that talk about 60 carbs , 20 protein and rest fat for healthy sustainable lifestyle. Now, Im a vegetarian and it is not that hard for me to achieve 60-20-20 in a 1200-1400 calorie diet, I can eat tonnnnes of veggies and great fruits.  In fact, 40% protein is very difficult and I end up drinking a lot of whey protein  for that.  After reading articles about 60-20-20, I started to wonder if one should really be macro frenzy or is it the calorie intake alone that matters? Has any one tried the 60-20-20 diet (if at all you count macros)?

DB diet experts thoughts on this please, be nice. TIA

40-40-20 worked great for me. I am following the same ratio for a year now. But I’m seriously considering changing due to boredom n plateau reasons

does your healthy life includes burning of atleast 300-500 calories besides your BMR ?

There's no one-fit-for-all solution when it comes to nutrition - as you might have seen already. If I were you, I'd try these:

1. Increase fat macros - eating healthy fats keeps you full and helps with weight loss

2. Introduce carb cycling - once or twice a week

https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/carb-cycling-101

3. If you're working on stubborn visceral fat, low intensity workout (like walking) on an empty stomach will help
