President-elect Joe Biden names longtime adviser Ronald Klain as his White House chief of staff

Ron Klain, who is known for his role as the White House Ebola response coordinator during the Obama-presidency and for assisting Joe Biden navigate the 2009 economic crisis, was named to be the president-elect's White House chief of staff on Wednesday evening. Biden said Klain's "deep, varied experience and capacity to work with people all across the political spectrum" will be crucial in tackling the current challenges.
