My friend's frd died about an 2 yrs ago. He had 2 kids. He bought a house about 5 yrs ago.

My frd was so hurt. He along with 2 others started go fund me thinking that family dont have money at all.

They collected 350k from go fund me. Spoke to dead guys's employer and got the family around 50k. Local association gave the money to move the body and family members to india. Later they came know he had a his frd had and insurance policy for 300k. and they had reserve funds.

On a total, the family has $750k.

These frds supported the family for about 3 months all groceries and stuff. After 3 months, dead guy's wife stopped talking to these guys totally reasons known to her. Dead guy is the only son to his parents.

Wife took the money and sold the house, moved to India and didnt even tell the in-laws. These frds were so hurt.

Total incident was very bad.

After this, I stopped donating if the limit is more then $50K
