401k hardship withdrawal for principal home purchase evarana use chesara previously . what are the pros and cons? 

10 k Hardship withdrawal Cheste No penality a? edana tax katala later ? 

if we take Contract  on both names. we can withdraw from both  401 k Acoounts?

10% penalty is mandatory. Homewonership is just an excuse to get money out of the account.

covid valana upto 100k withdrawl and no penalty..check your 401k portal. You would still need to play taxes

Why hardship withdraal if it is for home purchase ?? You can take a loan from your own 401K. If it is for Home loan, you can get it for 10 years. Personal loan is 5 years. You wont get everything though. It will be 50% of your vested balance. 

Pro is you dont pay any penalty this way, All the interest you pay will be going toyour account

 

Con is you are paying back taxed money. Usually it gets auto deducted from your paycheck. Depends on your employer, you may have to pay in full if you lose or changing jobs.
