Sad thing in Indian culture is temples do not want to educate people with true knowledge. They are happy propogating the rituals , turning temple into a financial venture rather than a spiritual center.

Many temples answer to your problems is jathaka dosham, puja, vratham, yagnam etc.

Chanakya was not a typical priest. He is one of a kind. He used Chandra gupta Maurya as a weapon to overthrow Magadha dynasty out of vengeance.

Brahmíns la 2 kinds - one is priests and other are administrators. Think os like  an IAS but exclusive to brahmíns, that’s how brahmins ended up across the breath of India performing book keeping, general administration, strategies etc under the so called kings- iyengars are not native tamils but brahmin administrations from up north who migrated to work under the kings thousands of years ago.

Every culture has its positives and negatives. I'm sure our culture has alot of positives but this thread lo mana demerits meedha focus cheddham.

On an average, I think biggest problem in our culture is lack of individuality. Free spirit nature undadu manollaki.

Manam elder members hierarchy framework valla vallani satisfy chese process lo konchem and soceity lo frnds and extended family dhaggara respect and validation earn chese process inkonchem individuality 10ngedtam.

Very few people live on their own terms. It's such a shame
