for professional grade, you dont need more megapixels, you need cleaner pictures with less noise in most use conditions

latest pixel and iphones are very good for photos. 

if you need professional level photos, then you need to buy good slr and lenses. the ones that come with cameras are not good. i suggest to buy a used slr and buy good lenses.

no , at one point i thought i was a thop thurum photographer

medalo kothaga konna DSLR eskoni pose lu isthaaru choodu, i ve been thru that phase in 2013 .

at that point i researched , then realized that its a quite complex landscape.

now i'm hell bent on scaring innocent novices away from spending valuable money on gear that will lie useless after few yrs 

a good phone and a portable tripod is much more capable these days
