India trip with family. Need visa stamping. Yay or Nay !!

Hello friends, I got permission from my work place to work from India still next March 2021. I need to go for visa stamping and my H1 expires Aug 2021. So I also need to file my extension around feb and March 2021

is it advisable to go to India especially as the consulate are all closed. What do you think will the consulates open on near future ?  Or shouldn’t just stay back.  Any advise

Ade same feeling nice long break which I may not again get in future, But feeling too risky also

checked the consulate website. It show temporarily closed and saw Chennai was accepting some drop box and I am not drop box eligible

With H1 1 year ante manager may agree but not the immigration team I guess. Also I need to file a renewal also
