If its an occasion like house warming ceremony or marriage , then split it into 2 cards each of 500$ etc and give depending on the occasion

You can give them Home Depot , Amazon , Best Buy , Target etc

Also , Why would you not get a phone for 1000$ ? the number of phones which sell above 1000$ is very less

What is the occasion? Buy something big that they might need.. you can ask them for suggestions and buy as this is a big amount..

They will have a ton of expenses... you can probably buy a washing machine or fridge or a tv or a projector with that amount of money... discuss with them on what model they want... aa item unnantha kalam, they will remember you. If you give them a gift card, they will buy miscellaneous stuff without any credit to you..

Gift cards are always a solid backup when you don’t know what to get someone, especially with all the digital options now. I’ve used fetch rewards for a while to rack up points and trade them in for gift cards—it’s not super fast, but over time it adds up. The process is pretty simple: snap receipts, earn points, and choose your reward. It’s definitely not a get-rich thing, but if you already shop a lot, it’s a chill way to collect something useful on the side.
