I talk to them every day.it’s not that easy to get AOS if they crossed illegally. Rules are not that easy for wall jumpers . I do have knowledge on family immigration because I went through it without any lawyer help. not hard for marriage, as no country has any law to stop or separate wife and husband. USC partner can sue uscies for this, its simple... immi do not have a choice in this regard... Quote

Maybe my wording might be wrong (I told during AOS or removal of conditions) that means both . They scrutinize more during initial approval. If strong evidence is provided your file is approved at service center itself for removal of conditions but not in case for initial approvals (I-130) you need to attend interview at field office. For people who don’t show up for their interviews USCIS will do deny it. Quote

They have not scrutinized much because we had evidences from past 2-3 years before our marriage and pictures and joint documents with both of our parents. Our AOS has completed in 15 mins with hardly any questions except he went through the application. Marrying within different races becoming more prevalent this days but yes they do review the cases hard if it’s interracial marriage and evidences are not substantial. Quote
