North East la vunna states annitilo, Local tribe languages are so many...rest of India kante more languages are spoken in North East, some tribe languages have barely few thousands of speakers. Nagaland too have quite a few languages, unlike Tamil in Tamil Nadu. Quote

They only taught English to select few who served as liaisons of the empire The colonies served only one purpose ie to send as much as resources to the British empire .
