instant pot ki dandam

Recommended Posts

Pro-   excellent for long simmering foods   like sambhar, pappu, kichdi, bagara rice, mutton curry etc

Con-  not good for high heat foods , rice if water isnt managed can become like upma yes (learning curve untadhi), cant roast or brown foods like meat.

for 50$ compared to 15$ to generic rice cooker, i say this is worth it

manam experts kaadu but there are fb and youtube videos on what indian foods you can cook in instantpot.

rice muddaga avthundi correct ey...anduke water thagginchali...couple of times experience aithe you will get it le.

we cook 3 things at a time in instantpot.....first buy something like this stainless steel thing (we got it from India)

https://www.amazon.com/Aozita-Stackable-Steamer-Instant-Accessories/dp/B071GY3R42/ref=pd_lpo_79_img_0/135-1270815-5356005?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B071GY3R42&pd_rd_r=b6c29b63-ed0f-439a-bf71-df67fff6f93c&pd_rd_w=JWeqg&pd_rd_wg=q8gJx&pf_rd_p=7b36d496-f366-4631-94d3-61b87b52511b&pf_rd_r=7MEH0PNKW2WKT9M5WVXN&psc=1&refRID=7MEH0PNKW2WKT9M5WVXN

okko layer lo okko item pettochu....like pappu, rice, any other veggies and then cook together. Also sometimes memu top layer lo paina oka steel plate petti, daani paina eggs petti anni okesaari cook chestham....definitely time saving.

if you want to cook pulav type (like chicken or mutton/kheema pulav), then instantpot super....anni kalipi okesaari ah pedda bowl lo cheyyochu.

but if you want to prepare dum style biryani, then better do it traditional way (owen lo)....dum biryani ki rice koncham soft undali...Instantpot lo correct water measurement vesina, chances are middle portion lo over cook avvochu. otherwise its definitely worth the money.

I agree on cleaning and single bowl.

you do not know how to use ani ardham ayyindhi .. follow this site to use it..https://pipingpotcurry.com/category/blog/instant-pot/

how to use ani article kuda undi... look at it.. I have the Nova model fully custom model...

just rice option use chesthe auto mode lo cook avuddi..

use pressure cooker mode... you can get soft and sticky style or palukula style...

for aged rice from laxmi brand i use the below ratio

1. pressure cooker mode - 2 cups rice ( soaked for 20-30 mins ) -> 3 mins for palukulu, 4 mins for soft and sticky

not soaked  -> 4 mins for paluklu 5 for soft and sticky

2. rice mode - 2 cups - soaked - soft and sticky

non soaked - palukulu (ravochu rakapovachu depends on model and style)

experiment with different brands and different ratios of water... sticky ga vasthe water tagginchu... simfle know...

be cool and cook better
