Invest in stocks/mutual funds

You cannot beat inflation by parking them in bank accounts

invest in Inflation protected funds and bond funds. It will workout 1-3% depending on the time. I would prefer holding for a year.

 

If you need money immediately, dont invest.

Amex , Citi used to give 1.70 to 2.00 % , but after pandemic they changed these to lower numbers

NRO/NRE Accounts will give more interest but read on the tax liability for those accounts
