More like corona forced their hand with this tour , they didn't plan for such a big delay .

Ala chuskunte no international team is dominant on world stage at this moment. All teams are more or less ghar ke sher. Even Australia lost overseas tours like India is doing now. Plus India has not played an ODI since Feb of this year. Where as Australia had a bit of practice in England. 
Also valla bowling kuda thopem ledu, just that our bowling and fielding are even worse in comparison.

All India needs is morale boost with a few overseas wins, confidence and practice and we will be back.

Mana anna kokkili babu planning ento ipl la soosnam kadha.. Last 3 overs ki saini and siraz gaadini ethi pettukunnaadu antey eedi ki thala medhadu lo ledhu... Akhariki arikaalu lo kooda ledhu ani..

I am talking about the planning from several years.. every year immediately after ipl, they travel directly to an overseas tour without any break.. after 60 days of continuous matches, it is difficult to travel overseas to play matches in new conditions... aus tour started with one day matches at least.. earlier test matches undevi..
