2015 floods  80+cm rain in 3-4 days , whole Nellore district crops washed out . 81 deaths . Power grid was down for 3 days , no current for upto 15 days in many areas .

Compensation given only a few SC/ST farmers from central funds , house damage compensation to few people .  NH16 damaged , not repaired until now . Only recently state government lobbied to repair the highway

2020 nivar floods , 30-40 cm in 2 days , not much drop damage in Nellore but krishna / Guntur got 6-8 cm on untimely rain and damaged crops .  4 deaths reported till now .12 hour power cut in Nellore/ Kadapa / tirupathi , agricultural power down for 3 days

Nivar cyclone varaku theesukuntey Nellore got 286.6mm of rain in 24 hours . Krishna , Guntur districts got on average less than 7cm . The eye of the storm travelled within chittoor / Nellore , so the wind impact was much more in our location . 

I am not denying that crops didn't get damaged , harvest time lo unna rice crops antha flatten ayyayi , cotton , mirchi sustained light damage .
