PilliBeta Posted December 3, 2020 Report Posted December 3, 2020 I feel like this is a case of infringement of rights. Basically my employer is requiring everyone to get tested every week and we have to consent to share our results with employer. I understand if you say wearing a mask is a requirement, but I think sharing medical records is an infringements of my rights. One of the buildings had to be vacated today because there was a COVID positive case there. I feel like people will be able to guess who it is that tested positive based on who works in which building and if they are able to come back to work or not. I am not comfortable with people knowing my medical records like that. I think it's infringement of my rights. Quote
PilliBeta Posted December 3, 2020 Author Report Posted December 3, 2020 Naku Covid positive ostundanna bhayam kante everyone in the building will know if I had Covid anna bhayam ekkuvayindi. I think this is illegal to be fair. Quote

And mandatory testing is well within the employers right , just look at all the sporting events . You could always quit if you deem it inappropriate Quote

Peter123 Posted December 3, 2020 Report Posted December 3, 2020 say this same exact thing to your employer, simple. you get paid for working for them, they set the rules, if you like, follow it, else gtfo.. simple and straight forward. isn't it however on the other side, your employer asking for a test every week is plain bs/ns, must be a dumb and or idiot. Happy Holidays! Quote

I mean it's a highly infectious disease, it's safer if everything is of public record regarding covid . Even in NFL , all the records are public and everyone who was in close contact with infected player are adviced to isolate . 2 Quote

Employers aren't legally allowed to access patient medical records, what makes it alright for them to do so with COVID? You are revealing patient identifiers by closing down for cleaning specific areas, repodduna covid valla complications ostayi ani research lo telithe, every fcker at work would know who were COVID positive at work, what if that leads to discrimination? How is that not illegal? Quote
