from who? I'm not much familiar about TN politics, though I'm from TN. I think his voters are gonna come from admk/bjp and not dmk.

He is a non factor , spoken to many people and the only ones who want him are ones who want a change from the fuedalistic parties . 

Unlike Chiranjeevi , pawan kalyan he has no caste base too . He will not amount to anything  , even the vote splitting should be uniform across party lines . He's basically  NOTA . 

I would be pleasantly surprised if he does make any impact

but who, according to you, is gonna pay him for contesting? I can only think DMK benefits from his presence. are they the ones paying him to contest?
