I have to be honest. I find the farm bill exciting. but I agree that farmers lose out, and must have a support system until a robust system is in place.

Problem adhe... crawl first before you walk...

Bodi gadi athram.. already demonetization lo kanipinchindi...

south farmers ki how this bill benefits? south lo most states lo farming chesude takkava... so south ki damage takkuva ani cheppu oppukunta.

dora edhedho pathakalu pettinchi thega penchesaadu agri output ni. ippudu evadu kontaadu avantha market lo? dora committee vesi em naataalo diktat isthe andari farmers ki laabham ochesthada? emanna naa.

first people who are into agriculture should reduce. drastically. the bill itself is not bad, the conversation has to go past the bill and into the subsidies that farmers get, and how to automate and reduce the workforce in that sector.

ofcourse you are right that dora is supporting this strike for nothing. its actually gonna bite him hard later if he makes any promises over this. thankfully, he's not that stupid.

Ie bill tho south farmers ki poyyedi emi ledu..

Southern Farmers oka 20 years back ae so called MSP system nundi move ayinaru. FCI still procures most of the grain produce but it’s mostly indirect procurement. Local traders are much more helpful and are part of local supply system and provide credit and then pr ire at less than MSP but its actually much more beneficial to farmers at farm.

Edo oorike oppose cheyalani cheyadame thappa paisa ki panikiradu ie vishayam

maximum 2 months.

Already ie private procurement edi aithe vundo, its already rampant and organized. I don’t know else where but in south Telangana districts la ipudu kadu, oka 10 years nundi supply chain and procurement has been happening. Private trader provides for input credit to farmer, helps in seeds, fertiliser and credit till crop is ready to harvest and deducts all these credit from final price and handover the cash to farmer. This is what the new bill promises. Ie phase motham la MSP anedi oka reference ga teesukovadame thappa assurance ga vundadu..paddy belts lo procurement different scene kani this is what is happening...the so called new bill ide..which has been in practice for quite some time now..

Status quo for 60-70% of the farmers...and about 20-30% farmers will slowly get adapted to new procedures.

inko rakam ga adagali ante.. how will this bill help farmers get a better bargain for their produce.

for eg. does the bill have any strong checks and balance against hoarding, other than allowing even cereals to be hoarded now, except under 'emergency conditions'?

MSP gurinchi neeku class enduka ? The whole point itself is MSP and reference MSP as trade line and procurement...

Okay. Stop reading NYT fiction stories and editorial and look at the bill once.
