బుధవారం ఒక్కరోజే 3,054 మరణాలు

ఒకవైపు, అమెరికాలో కొద్ది రోజుల్లో రెండు కొవిడ్‌-19 టీకాలకు అనుమతి లభించి అందుబాటులోకి వస్తాయనే సానుకూల వార్తల మధ్యలో మరణాల సంఖ్య ఆందోళన కలిగిస్తోంది. అమెరికా కాలమానం ప్రకారం బుధవారం ఒక్కరోజే అత్యధికంగా 3,054 మరణాలు సంభవించాయి. అంతకు ముందు రోజు 2,769 మంది కరోనా వైరస్‌కు బలయ్యారని కొవిడ్ ట్రాకింగ్ ప్రాజెక్టు వెల్లడించింది. 18 లక్షల మందికి నిర్ధారణ పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించగా..2,10,000 మందికి వైరస్ సోకింది. రికార్డు స్థాయిలో 1,06,688 మంది ఆసుపత్రుల్లో చికిత్స పొందుతున్నారు. కాగా, ఇప్పటివరకు కోటీ 50 లక్షల మందికి పైగా వైరస్ బారిన పడగా, 2,86,249 మంది మృత్యు ఒడికి చేరుకున్నారని జాన్స్‌ హాప్‌కిన్స్ యూనివర్సిటీ వెల్లడించింది.
