Toyota, honda wasted years altogether on hydrogen fuel cells and ultimately are giving up on it.

Cost of manufacturing hydrogen for fuel needs and transportation and disposal stations set up is a huge infrastructure nightmare.

Hydrogen might still work for heavy haulers on dedicated routes that span interstates.

Passenger cars ki hydrogen is a distant dream, atleast for wider adoption

Interesting .. Volkswagen is investing several times more into battery R&D than Toyota and so far they do not have plans about a solid state battery for a while .

I am guessing it will be tech demonstration model and not a mass market step. Besides all of em are cooperating with Chinese manufacturers for production of batteries , so the suppliers should be common for both Tesla and Toyota

This is what surprises me a lot... telsa cars have been in market for many years. yet there is no challenger for them.

eventhough telsa released so many patents to general public.

is telsa so advanced that other industries finding it so hard to crack it ?
