i got debit of 4000$ with citi bank credit card but due to visa problem i had to shift to india in 2014 but now i still didnt pay the credit amount and it is gone past due from past 6 years.

I heard debts are cleared after 7 years.SO can i enter into US next year?If i enter,will it effect at POE?

I dont think that will be an issue at POE until and unless your name triggers them to do further checks on you.

Collection accounts ki status ki link aey ledu.  Recession lo collections ki poyi kattakunda ide desam lo extns stamoings ayina vallu mastu mandi unnaru. They both arent related be cool and come back.

It does not work that way regarding credit. Your defaults on payments will be remembered in their database based on your SSN and your credit history. Your records are deleted after 7 years only if you filed bankruptancy officially. 

indians have belief that they will automatically delete history if you don't pay. This is a myth.

ala egagottina vallavi i85 stage lo credit history adigi dues anni kattisthunnaru. ipudu kothaga file sese vallaki ala work avvadu. they started asking people to file i-944 form and public charge declaration forms.

10 yrs ayina they can send letters asking to pay. Only thing is it wont effect the credit history anymore if it passes 7 yrs and will be erased from history. They can legally do nothing once it passes statute of limitations.

COmedy ah ? Credit history erase ayyaka how are they tracking ?  I have friends who got GC last year . Anta scene ledu. These were done in 80's and 90's too.

comedy meeku unnattu undi. from last month onwards i-944 form file seyali even for h1 or f1 and also declare public charge. This means that you need to tell your debt. see below.  This may not impact at POE. history will be erased only if you declare bankruptancy. statue of limitations kicks in only if you have court judgement in favour for you. if you don't believe me than take 5k debt on your card and don't pay for 7 years to see how it will impact your credit history.

Naku history erase ayyindi i didnt file bankruptcy. It went to collections and i repaid long back.FYI payoff cheyakapote inka fast ga erase avutundi than paying off. I always felt i made huge blunder paying off. Payoff cheyani na friends ki faster ga erase ayindi. I lived in US for 6 yrs without CC after my cards went to collections in recession.
