White House told FDA chief to authorize vaccine or resign: report

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows on Friday told FDA chief Stephen Hahn to resign if the agency does not clear the nation's first coronavirus vaccine by day's end, the Washington Post reported. The Post said the threat came the same day that President Donald Trump tweeted that the FDA is "a big, old, slow turtle" in its handling of vaccines.
