Masters after PhD

Is it a dumb idea? The lack of tests and exams is giving me anxiety. Everytime I see a large book, I have this urge to be like I want to study this, and be tested in this. I took enough classes in statistics already, so I am not really interested in a Masters degree in biostatistics. I am more interested in a Masters degree in some science that's not really related to programming. Most online programs are related to biostatistics or data science, which I have zero interest in studying. What other options do I have?

Nothing wrong. And it's not dumb. One of my freinds couldn't complete and she used to complain about her guide all the times. After couple of years she converted the time she spent as PhD student into Master's and got master's degree. After converting she got H1B from the same Uni. She was worried about the GC. Sinne she was doing lab work, she had her name on one or two papers. She applied under EB1 using those papers. Chinese girl applied through some Chinese immigration lawyer.

Not really worried about immigration, just wondering what to study.

Don't take too much stress. PhD is for people who enjoy it and the research after the graduation for the rest of his/her life. It doesn't mean that the person is less worthy. It is just matter of interent and experiencing the enjoyment. If you don't find that, take the burden off. I always wanted to do PhD after masters but I had confusion during the masters whether I will be able to pull it off and stay in the academic field for the rest of the life. Infact, I had choosen the masters subjects and the Uni to bolster my PhD chances. I read one paper in the Uni library, it was so hard hitting and helped me to decide that I am not a PhD guy. It was written by some professor from his experience with his life and the students he mentored.
