Dr. Fauci Reveals Daughter’s Boyfriend's Brother, 32, Died After Contracting COVID: 'Very Sad'

Dr. Anthony Fauci is opening up about how the novel coronavirus has personally impacted his own family.

In an interview Wednesday for the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the nation's top infectious disease specialist revealed that the brother of his daughter Alison's boyfriend — who he did not name — died after contracting COVID-19

 

Fauci said there was one "very sad" case that came to mind.

"The answer is yes, a few, but one in particular," Fauci said. "My youngest daughter’s boyfriend’s brother is a 32-year-old young man, athletic, healthy, who got COVID-19 and had one of the unusual complications of cardiomyopathy with an arrhythmia and died."

Thanks rey ! Ento e year worst of the worst. Intlo ma parents are very much effected psychologically. Anduke nenu evvarini friends ni kalavatledu bayata tinatledu. Few of my colleagues/friends are angry too. Eppudu edo cheptav ravachu once in a while now this is too much ani. I dont know how to explain them but i told them on face i wont meet anyone till my parents leave for India. Intlo enta mandi poyi edustu vallato roju matladutu malla i cant make mistake of meeting anyone. I feel like meeting them sometimes but i dont want to risk my parents life. Vallaki emanna ayite batakalenu adi na valla ayite bharinchalenu kshaminchukolenu. Intlo ayite seriousness perugutundi. We go to adavi to break from being home thrice a week. We have soap water sanitizers gloves masks everything in car. You can imagine how cautious we are.
