its also how people behave when they are not paid. if you can't pay, but expect them to work 12hr shifts, you are pretty much making sure that at some point people are gonna break down.

It happens all over the world. even in China.  except when China puts down the protests, they also take the company to task, and forcibly implement changes.

I mean, what even happened in that factory? the report itself is not very exhaustive about the reasons why workers protested. There's no need to make blanket statements about 'poor countries cant pick and choose'.

Since you are brushing under the carpet Indian govt's capacity to act, why talk against the workers in such harsh manner? Is it because they are from the underclass and thus deserve to bear the complete burden of making India an attractive cheaper destination for manufacturing? Does no one else share that burden?
