no idea what tech is gonna have the next mass appeal, and not be regulated by the govt. and be subsidized by the capital markets in the hope of catching market share.

Can Austin attract energy tech companies, on the back of Tesla? if it can, it can be the next SV. 

There may never be a next silicon valley. while the current silicon valley becomes like newyork for commoditized computing talent.
