Jumper Posted December 13, 2020 Report Posted December 13, 2020 Used to be a smoker more than a pack a day. Do you have a plan to quit smoking. if there is no plan probably you will fall back. have a plan and set some goals in it. day by day and week by week you will not even think of a cigarette. physical - chemical addiction is easier to get off, mental addiction is hard and takes time. if you probably drink then stop that too. lekpothe thaginapudu smoke 100% malla chestham Quote

Any suggestions would be appreciated I did cold turkey, it might be a little difficult than patches but most effective approach is cold turkey just quit. I made my own plan as things others suggested didnt work for me. my plan is below customize it acc to what you thing and would suggest following it. If you need anything else pls ping, helped other friends of mine after I quit in their process. patches would work too, anything that helps quitting is good. but have a plan. used to be a heavy smoker and drinker. have a plan - this will help u in the process 1. throw all the smoking products you have, if possible quit drinking for some time. 2. write a note of why you want to quit and what advantages you would get by quitting. 3. Write down what will you do if you get a smoke cessation like first time - lasts 20 mins so read the note and walk, run, pushups, stairs so that you get panting. second time - lasts 15 mins read the note do something challenging to the body heart rate or lungs third time - lasts 10 mins read the note do something u like fourth, fifth, sixth ani rasuko. give yourself a treat while u cross 1 week, 3 weeks, 5 weeks 2 months 3months uptil 6 months. when u get the cessation do these and slowly the cessations will come and go. all this is to train your mind to get away from smoking. always tell yourself quit one more day and thats it, tell the same thing to yourself next day. Hope this helps you my friend. ATB on your quitting process. 1 Quote
